The Federation of Zionist Youth (FZY) is a Zionist Jewish youth movement. Founded in 1910, it is the oldest〔http://www.jpost.com/Israel/Article.aspx?id=168410〕 It is affiliated with Young Judaea in the USA and the Hebrew Scouts movement in Israel. It runs weekly activities and camps for hundreds of Jewish youth, as well as bringing many members on programmes to Israel for a summer tour at age 16, or a year-long programme at the completion of high school. Ideologically, FZY stands on four pillars of: * ''tarbut'' (תרבות) - Jewish culture; * ''tzedaka'' (צדקה) - values of charity and righteousness; * ''magen'' (מגן) - defense of Jewish rights; * ''aliyah nimshechet'' (עליה) - moving to Israel and continuing to do good for the state ==FZY Centenary Year== 2009/2010 was FZY's centenary year and the movement celebrated 100 years since its founding.
